Jevera Hennessey


Jevera Hennessey is a partner at Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC, a full service law firm, practicing in all aspects of estate and trust planning. She served as President of the Greenwich Bar Association from 1994-1995 and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Fairfield County Bar Association. For many years, she was a regular estate planning course instructor in the Continuing Education program and also lectured on probate and estate planning topics through the Greenwich, Fairfield County and Connecticut Bar Associations. And she is a member of the Board of Directors for First County Bank.

Jevera has also dedicated decades of community service to the Stamford and surrounding communities. Her volunteer activities include:

SilverSource - Advisory Council member and Past Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors

Stamford Hospital Foundation - Member of Board of Directors and Planned Giving Advisory Committee Fairfield County’s Community Foundation - served 16 years as Professional Advisors Council member, an important group that connects the Foundation’s work and programs to philanthropically minded individuals

Stamford Community Emergency Response Team – an active  member since 2017

Stamford Public Education Foundation - Former member of Board of Directors

Registration Volunteer for JCC Maccabi Games in Stamford in 2006 and 2016

Pro Bono Legal Volunteer for 911 Victims
