Doris Kirschbaum

1965

Doris Kirschbaum demonstrated a strong belief in interfaith harmony, possessed high standards of responsibility in civic life and helped to promote projects for the public welfare. She served as president of the Stamford community Council and the Stamford mental health Association. She was also a member of the Citizens’ Action Council, the Mayor’s Committee on Aging and the Family and Children’s Services. In addition Mrs. Kirschbaum was the president of the Connecticut State Social Welfare Board and a member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Day Care.
