CITY OF STAMFORD CITIZEN OF THE YEAR

Mr. Waterbury was the son of William Fillmor Waterbury who established the Maplehurst Dairy. His father sold the business in 1945. He was a member of the board of Stamford Hospital, a member of the First-Stamford National Bank and Trust Co. and a member of the board of Citizens’ Savings Bank.

 

C. Russell Waterbury was president of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, a member of Board of Directors of the Stamford Water Company, the former president of the Stamford YMCA, a member of Kiwanis Club, Elks Club and a member of the Masons
