Rev. Donald F. Campbell

He moved to Stamford in 1945 and was pastor at the First Presbyterian Church until 1975. He helped Shepard the construction of the “Fish” church in 1958. After he retired he and his wife moved to Weybridge, Vermont.
Rev. Campbell won the award for his leadership in labor management relation and for his work as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. He was Chairman of the Labor Management Committee, which helped to smooth dealings between workers and management at the industry in town. He was also a founder of the Forum for World Affairs in Stamford, which was concerned with world issues and at its creation with bringing the United Nations headquarters to Fairfield County. He also served on the Human Rights Commission of Stamford.
